The Baseball Association: leases space from city to display baseball memorabilia in city hall. Display was formerly housed in Old Telephone Exchange, now home of Kudzu Arts.
Art Fest: Led by The Lions Club, Woman's Club and representatives of Businesses Assoc., and other civic groups, a 501(c)3 non-profit tax exempt for purpose of presenting Fall Festival.
Status: Receives grant monies from city as co-sponsor for marketing expense. Returns a sum of profits to benefit worthy group in city. This year has chosen as beneficiary The Norcross History Center, Inc., a non-profit that seeks to found a museum.
Norcross Neighbors: formerly the Norcross Homeowners Assoc. Manages and coordinates The Tour of Homes (founded 2002). Group maintains a website, and email; hosts social activities and fund-raisers.
Status: receives $15,000 grant and services from city to initiate Corners-Crossing Race in conjunction with Peachtree Corners Civic Assoc.; status other grant monies not known

The Historic Preservation Alliance, Inc. (a privately-held non-profit board) a/k/a "The Plaque Committee"-a 501(c)3 tax exempt foundation arm of the Norcross Neighbors group that utilizes profits from the Tour of Homes (organized 2003). Treasury is not public.
Status: receives grant monies from city to co-sponsor marketing activities for Tour of Homes.

(an independent, non-affiliated non-profit Board, newly founded 2007 and consisting of a cross-section of representatives of the Womans Club, Save Historic Norcross, African-American Community, Baseball Association, and others interested in historical preservation and education for purpose of founding a Museum in the city and utilizing senior citizens and others as volunteers.
Status: Group has presented 3-year Business Plan to City Council 2007; City Manager has identified start-up funding for first 3 years; Council has donated $3,200 "seed" money for start-up expense and incorporation. Pending is the Proposal for leasing building from city for $1/year and any money for the three-year plan.
